Fitness Classes

Yoga (Beginners to Intermediate)
This class gives you a variety of yoga styles. we offer you a dynamic, fun class that gives you a stronger, leaner body, improving your posture, flexibility and core strength.

Yogalates (All levels)
Yogalates is a mix of yoga and pilates, focusing on toning and strengthening the body, improving posture and flexibility. Increases well being and reduces stress. It also promotes proper breathing.

Yoga workshops (All levels)
A workshop for those Yogis who want to challenge themselves and focus on advanced Yoga postures and flexibility, includes partner assisted stretching.

Yoga Therapy (All) This course Involves Yoga Techniques, Ayurvedic principles, Thai Yoga massage, Indian head & Alexander technique. Its focus is on well-being, relieving muscular tension, headaches, insomnia, back pain and balances hormones. The course lasts 4 weeks and you must be able to attend every session in pairs to benefit from the course.

Hooping (Beginners courses)
They are a structured 4 week course learning the very basics of hooping around the waist with correct technique and posture. We learn how to move around the room whilst hooping, also using the hoop around the hips, chest, arms & hand hooping, incorporating tricks, turning & off the body, plus using the Hoop as a weight to do toning exercises and abdominal work.

Buggyburn & Buggy Bootcamp
A pram based walking class involving a fast pace walk or jog, to work lungs, heart & burn fat. And stopping to do some toning with resistance bands & stretching. Working all muscle groups. Available to all adults (male or female) & pregnant ladies.

Childrens Classes are also available during the school hoildays!

Private classes/sessions
I also do one-to-one private Yoga, Pilates, Alexander Technique, Yoga Therapy, Yoga swing and Hoop sessions. These cost £30 per session ( Adults & Children ) – contact me for more details.

All classes last 45 mins – 1 hour unless otherwise stated above. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of the class.

Fitmums & Friends is a uniquely supportive running group which uses a simple system to enable all standards of runners to run together. This allows everyone to run at their individual pace without pressure to keep up with faster runners, and yet enables each runner to advance and progress. The group welcomes males & females and you don’t have to be a mum or fit! However Fitmums and Friends particularly encourages and welcomes “mums” to have a go. It is not always easy to fit exercise in to busy family life and after having children, bodies are not always what they were! We also we now offer Power Walking and Buggy Burn.
